Trisha Kernodle, APRN, FNP-C
Background
Trisha was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was raised into a military family and then met her husband who was also in the military. Trisha and her husband have four children. Her husband received orders to Alaska in 2011, and lived in Anchorage until 2014. After completing FNP school, she and her husband decided to move their family and return to beautiful Alaska!
Trisha received her degree in nursing from Daytona Beach College in 2009. She currently has thirteen years of nursing experience with the last two years working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She also served as Clinical Adjunct for nursing students at Walter State University in Morristown, Tennessee. She has a diverse background in various clinical settings including cardiology, electrophysiology, postpartum and intensive care nursing. However, it is in the long-term care setting working as a Nurse Practitioner where she has developed a passion and interest in treating wounds.
